AQUAMOONS (incontinence Pads)
Crimson Moon IC Pads are made using the most absorbent fabrics available to date. They are 100% waterproofed yet still breathable, anti-bacterial and anti odour.
When deciding what incontinence pads you need please take into account flow and length of the IC pad.
-For very Slight incontinence, sneeze and giggle leaks we recommend a regular flow in 8"-10"
-For dribbles and not quite getting to the loo in time we recommend a heavy flow in 10" - 13" inch
-For more considerable incontinence we recommend a super flow in 12" and above and highly recommend 15" -18" pads for severe and full bladder loss.
Be aware that the longer the pad the more core fabric we can get into a pad thus making it more absorbent and capable of a higher holding capacity.
Fabrics currently used in Crimson Moon CSP cloth menstrual pads and Aquamoon incontinence pads
HOBF and SHOBF = Heavy bamboo fleece & super heavy bamboo fleece
Organic Cotton Fleece = High capacity fleece, used as a single layer in lights/liners and combines very well with zorbs to keep pads slim.
Charcoal Treated HOBF and SHOBF = Helps with odour control in IC pads
Zorb3d Stay Dry = Fast wicking zorb used in our incontinence pads
Zorb3d Organic = Holds vast amounts of liquid
Zorb3d-HD = Holds vast amounts of liquid whilst being slim line and fast wicking
Our layering occasionally changes slightly but is always at the high standard you have come to expect from Crimson Moon or better as absorbent fabric manufacturers improve their products.

What size cloth menstrual pads should you buy? A disposable pad is roughly 10", If you feel a disposable is too short opt for longer, if you feel a disposable is too long for you opt for a shorter pad. For sleeping many ladies like a longer pad than their usual day pads to ensure they have a worry free night and won't bleed off the front or the back of their CSP due to the sleeping position.
Always wear good fitting underwear with your cloth menstrual pads as you would with disposables.
Never use fabric softener as this will coat your CSP and incontinence pads and prolonged use will affect the absorbency
ABOUT CRIMSON MOON CLOTH MENSTRUAL PADS AND INCONTINENCE PADS
Crimson Moon menstrual and incontinence pads are worn just like disposable pads, but instead of glue on the wings they have snap fasteners that close securely around your underwear, also the backing fabric which is highly water resistant has a grippy texture which also helps to keep your CSP in place and with the correct care and attention combined with our high quality premium fabrics and construction your pads will last for many years to come.
BETTER FOR YOU
Crimson Moon CSP's are better for your health as they do not contain all the yakky chemicals that are found in disposables, these chemicals can cause discomfort in the form of rashes, allergies and can even make your menstrual flow heavier.
BETTER FOR THE PLANET
The average woman throws away 16,000 disposable menstrual products in her lifetime, these end up in landfills, our water system and our seas. Also the manufacturing process of disposable sanitary items uses a lot of chemicals and the residues are left in the pads and can be absorbed into your body.
From time to time we do use recycled packaging for very large orders and wholesale orders
